🧄 Ingredients:

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

1 large onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced

1 tbsp cumin seeds

1 tsp ground cumin

½ tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 tbsp soy sauce (divided)

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp vegetable oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)

🍳 Instructions:

1. ✅ Marinate the Beef

In a bowl, mix the beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and ½ tsp ground cumin. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.

2. 🔥 Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok over high heat, add the vegetable oil.

3. 🔥 Sear the Beef

Add marinated beef to the hot pan. Stir-fry quickly until browned. Remove and set aside.

4. 🧄 Sauté the Aromatics

In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and cumin seeds. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.

5. 🧅 Add the Onion

Toss in the sliced onion and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, until just softened.

6. 🥩 Bring Back the Beef

Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Stir well to combine with onions.

7. 🥢 Season It Up

Add the remaining 1 tbsp soy sauce, oyster sauce, red pepper flakes, and salt & pepper to taste. Cook for another 1–2 minutes to blend flavors.

8. 🌿 Finish & Serve

Garnish with fresh cilantro, if desired. Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.

✅ Pro Tips:

Slice steak against the grain for maximum tenderness.

Use a very hot pan to get that classic stir-fry sear.

Double the recipe—it’s great for leftovers the next day!
