🔹️🔹️For the Chicken:
↪️1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
↪️1 tbsp olive oil
↪️1/2 tsp garlic powder
↪️Salt and black pepper to taste
🔹️🔹️For the Sauce & Pasta:
↪️8 oz penne or rotini pasta
↪️1 tbsp butter
↪️1/2 cup diced onion
↪️2 garlic cloves, minced
↪️1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
↪️1/2 cup chicken broth
↪️1 cup heavy cream
↪️1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
↪️1/4 tsp smoked paprika
↪️Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
👉Directions:
✅️Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
✅️In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook chicken pieces for 6–7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
✅️In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until soft, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Stir in BBQ sauce, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, then lower heat.
✅️Add in shredded cheddar cheese and smoked paprika. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
✅️Add cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated in the sauce.
✅️Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
