✅️✅️ Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones
These golden, cheesy calzones are stuffed with creamy Alfredo sauce, juicy chicken, and melty mozzarella – perfect for air frying and even better for dipping!
🔻 Ingredients:
🔹️For the Dough & Filling:
◾️1 lb. store-bought pizza dough
◾️2 cups cooked chicken (rotisserie or diced breasts)
◾️1 cup shredded mozzarella
◾️Marinara sauce (optional, for dipping)
🔹️For the Alfredo Sauce:
◾️5 tbsp butter
◾️1 cup heavy cream
◾️4 garlic cloves, minced
◾️1 tsp Italian or Cajun seasoning
◾️¼ tsp salt
◾️¼ tsp pepper
◾️1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
🔹️For the Butter Topping:
◾️4 tbsp softened butter
◾️2 tsp minced fresh parsley
🔻 Instructions:
✅️1. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in cream, salt, pepper, and seasoning. Simmer gently for 3 minutes, then add Parmesan and stir until smooth and thick. Set aside to cool.
✅️2. Assemble the Calzones:
Divide dough into 4 oz. balls. Roll each into a 6” circle. Spread 1 tbsp Alfredo sauce in the center, add chicken, then sprinkle mozzarella. Fold dough over into a half-moon and pinch edges to seal.
✅️3. Air Fry to Perfection:
Mix parsley and softened butter. Brush calzones with butter mixture and place in air fryer. Cook at 375°F for 8 minutes, brushing with more butter halfway through. Brush once more when done.
↪️Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping!
🔺 Pro Tips:
↪️1. Let the Alfredo sauce cool before assembling the calzones — warm sauce can make the dough too soft to handle.
↪️2. Don’t overfill the calzones or they might burst in the air fryer. A little filling goes a long way.
↪️3. Preheat your air fryer for best results — you’ll get a crispier crust and even cooking.
