✅️ Classic Chicken Marsala with Creamy Mushroom Sauce
👉 Ingredients:
🔹️ 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
🔹️ 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
🔹️ Salt and black pepper, to taste
🔹️ 3 tablespoons olive oil
🔹️ 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
🔹️ 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
🔹️ 3 cloves garlic, minced
🔹️ 3/4 cup Marsala wine
🔹️ 3/4 cup chicken broth
🔹️ 1/2 cup heavy cream
🔹️ 1 teaspoon dried thyme
🔹️ 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
👉 Directions:
◾️ Step 1: ↪️ Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
◾️ Step 2: ↪️ Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
◾️ Step 3: ↪️ Add remaining olive oil and butter. Sauté mushrooms for 4–5 minutes until browned.
◾️ Step 4: ↪️ Stir in garlic and thyme, cook for 1 minute.
◾️ Step 5: ↪️ Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth. Scrape the pan to deglaze. Simmer for 8–10 minutes until reduced by half.
◾️ Step 6: ↪️ Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
◾️ Step 7: ↪️ Return chicken to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 more minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
