🛒 Ingredients:
✅ 2 lbs ground beef
✅ 1 quart tomato juice
✅ 1 (29 oz) can tomato purée
✅ 1 (15 oz) can red kidney beans, drained
✅ 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans, drained
✅ 1½ cups chopped onion (about 1 medium-large onion)
✅ ½ cup diced celery
✅ ¼ cup diced green bell pepper
✅ ¼ cup chili powder (use less if you prefer mild)
✅ 1 tsp ground cumin (or more if you love bold flavor)
✅ 1½ tsp garlic powder
✅ 1 tsp salt
✅ ½ tsp black pepper
✅ ½ tsp dried oregano
✅ ½ tsp sugar
✅ 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional kick!)

◾️ 1️⃣ Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess fat.
◾️ 2️⃣ Combine & Simmer:
Transfer the beef to a large 6-quart pot. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
◾️ 3️⃣ Cook It Low & Slow:
Cover the pot and let it simmer gently for 1 to 1½ hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
🕒 No time? Use a slow cooker on LOW for 3–4 hours instead!
