🔥Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches
👉Ingredients:
↪️3–4 lb chuck roast
↪️1 tbsp olive oil
↪️1 large onion, thinly sliced
↪️3 cloves garlic, minced
↪️3 cups beef broth
↪️2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (Wan Ja Shan Organic or any kind)
↪️1 tbsp soy sauce
↪️1 tsp dried thyme
↪️1 tsp dried rosemary
↪️Salt and black pepper, to taste
↪️6 French rolls or hoagie buns
↪️6 slices provolone cheese
↪️Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
👉Instructions:
✅️1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the roast with salt and pepper. Sear the roast on all sides until it’s nicely browned (about 4–5 minutes per side).
✅️2. Add sliced onions and minced garlic to the bottom of your crockpot. Place the seared roast on top.
✅️3. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Sprinkle in thyme and rosemary.
✅️4. Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours, or until the meat is very tender and easy to shred.
✅️5. Remove the roast from the crockpot and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded beef to the juices in the crockpot to soak up more flavor.
✅️6. Preheat your oven to broil. Cut the rolls open, fill them with the shredded beef, and place a slice of provolone on each.
✅️7. Place the sandwiches under the broiler for 1–2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
✅️8. Serve hot with a small bowl of the cooking liquid (au jus) for dipping.
