Bold & Flavourful Slow-Cooked Spicy Beef Curry with Aromatic Spices and Rich Gravy
👉Ingredients:
↪️1 kg beef chuck, cut into bite-sized cubes
↪️30ml vegetable oil
↪️1 large onion, finely chopped
↪️4 garlic cloves, minced
↪️15ml fresh ginger, grated
↪️30ml curry powder
↪️5ml chili powder (adjust to taste)
↪️5ml ground cumin
↪️2.5ml turmeric
↪️2.5ml ground cinnamon
↪️410g can diced tomatoes
↪️250ml beef broth
↪️Salt and pepper, to taste
↪️Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
👉Instructions:
✅️1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
✅️2. Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
✅️3. Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
✅️4. Stir in curry powder, chili powder, cumin, turmeric, and cinnamon. Cook for 1 minute.
✅️5. Add diced tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 2-3 hours or until beef is tender.
✅️6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
✅️7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro if desired.

🔹️Adjust the amount of chili powder to your desired level of spiciness.
🔹️Serve with rice, roti, or naan bread for a delicious meal.
🔹️You can also make this recipe in a slow cooker. Brown the beef and cook the onion mixture, then transfer everything to the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
