👉Ingredients:
↪️2 lbs stew beef, cut into cubes
↪️2 tsp olive oil
↪️2 cups water
↪️1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
↪️1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
↪️2 bay leaves
↪️1 medium onion, chopped
↪️1 tsp salt
↪️1 tsp raw sugar
↪️½ tsp ground black pepper
↪️½ tsp smoked paprika
↪️½ tsp turmeric
↪️½ tsp onion powder
↪️⅛ tsp ground cloves
↪️4 large carrots, quartered and cut into small wedges
↪️3 celery stalks, halved and chopped
↪️2 tbsp cornstarch
↪️¼ cup cold water
↪️1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
👉Directions:
✅️1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef cubes in olive oil for 2–3 minutes. Transfer the meat to a crock pot.
✅️2. Add the 2 cups of water and all other ingredients (except cornstarch, ¼ cup water, and ranch mix) into the crock pot.
✅️3. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
✅️4. About 45 minutes before serving, mix the cornstarch and ¼ cup cold water in a small bowl until smooth. Stir this mixture into the stew, then add the packet of ranch dressing mix.
✅️5. Let it continue to cook and thicken. Serve hot and enjoy!
