👉Ingredients:
↪️12 oz spaghetti
↪️1 tablespoon olive oil
↪️1 pound ground beef
↪️½ pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy), casings removed
↪️1 small onion, diced
↪️3 cloves garlic, minced
↪️1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
↪️1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
↪️1 teaspoon dried oregano
↪️1 teaspoon dried basil
↪️Salt and black pepper to taste
↪️1 large egg
↪️1 cup ricotta cheese
↪️2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
↪️½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
↪️Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👉Directions:
✅️Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
✅️Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
✅️In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft, about 3 minutes.
✅️Add garlic, ground beef, and sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess grease.
✅️Stir in marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
✅️In a large mixing bowl, whisk egg and combine with ricotta cheese. Add cooked spaghetti and toss to coat.
✅️Spread half the spaghetti mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with half the meat sauce, then sprinkle 1 cup mozzarella.
✅️Repeat layers with remaining spaghetti, sauce, and mozzarella. Top with Parmesan cheese.
✅️Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
✅️Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley and serve hot.
