Slow Cooked Italian Beef Roast



Let your kitchen fill with the comforting aroma of this classic Italian pot roast! Tender beef, simmered low and slow with herbs, veggies, and rich tomato broth—perfect for a hearty family meal.

👉Ingredients:

▶️2 lbs beef chuck roast

▶️1 tbsp olive oil

▶️1 onion, chopped

▶️2 carrots, chopped

▶️2 celery stalks, chopped

▶️3 garlic cloves, minced

▶️2 cups beef broth

▶️1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes

▶️1 tsp dried rosemary

▶️1 tsp dried thyme

▶️Salt & pepper to taste

▶️2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


✅️Instructions:

✅️1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high. Season beef with salt and pepper, then sear until browned all over.

✅️2. Remove beef; add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes until softened.

✅️3. Return beef to the pot. Add broth, tomatoes, rosemary, and thyme.

✅️4. Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 3–4 hours until the beef is fall-apart tender.

✅️5. Shred the meat into the sauce and stir to combine.

✅️6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
