▶️1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
▶️1 tbsp olive oil
▶️3 cloves garlic, minced
▶️1/4 cup honey
▶️1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
▶️1 tbsp rice vinegar
▶️1 tsp sesame oil
▶️1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (for slurry)
▶️2 cups cooked jasmine rice
▶️1/2 cup shredded carrots
▶️1 tbsp sesame seeds
▶️2 green onions, thinly sliced
👉Instructions:
✅️1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
✅️2. Add chicken pieces and cook for 6–8 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
✅️3. Lower the heat to medium. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
✅️4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Let it simmer gently.
✅️5. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
✅️6. Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sticky sauce.
✅️7. To assemble the bowls, place jasmine rice in each bowl. Top with honey garlic chicken, shredded carrots, sesame seeds, and green onions.
✅️8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
